Skilpod has spent 3 years developing a standardized building system that allows us to build energy-efficient apartment buildings up to 5 stories high. With these apartments, we are mainly aiming at government-related clients and larger projects.

Are you interested in conquering the international market with these Skilpod apartments? Do you like to be on the winning side of the revolution? Then we want you on our team as an architect / project coordinator.

what are your tasks?

• Together with the client, you discuss what the best implantation possibilities of the project are and try to visualize this as clearly as possible.
• You visualize and elaborate the projects in Sketchup and you make renders of the different projects and floor plans.
• You coordinate projects internally and act as the right hand of the Business Development manager.
• You internally follow up on projects between our different departments.
• You prepare offers, based on your calculations.
• You coordinate public procurement projects from a to z, you evaluate the files, follow up the planning, quote and submit.
• You help to (further) develop our stack building concepts in the architectural field.

who is our ideal candidate?

• You have an excellent working ability with Sketchup, Photoshop and other rendering software (of your choice).
• You have a technical background in knowledge of construction and architecture.
• You are flexible and can deal with the changes inherent in a company in full growth. More than that, you are not afraid to present your own ideas and optimizations to your managers and colleagues.
• Short deadlines do not deter you.
• You are a team player without fear of working independently.
• You have a hands-on mentality and a positive attitude. A real entrepreneur who gets to work to build something beautiful.
• Knowledge and experience with Belgian tenders is a plus.
• Affinity with modular, prefab construction is a plus.

Our main workshop and office is located in Geel, in a traffic-free area by the canal, and our Dutch branch is located in bustling Eindhoven.

You can build a home in one day!

Skilpod is a construction company with an unusual way of working: we build timber frame homes in our workshop, transport them to the building lot and install the home in a single day. We need handy people that can work with precision to execute this installation.

You don't have any experience doing this? That's no problem. In the first few weeks, we'll let you work in a team that knows are the tricks of the trade and can teach you all you need to know. If you are a jack-of-all-trades, you will quickly be able to build homes in a single day.
